Just a few weeks, self proclaimed Real Life Barbie, Sarah Burge, was giving her tiny daughter a plastic surgery voucher as a birthday gift. Last weekend, Sarah Burge threw her ‘My Big Fat Plastic Surgery Prize Draw party’ in London. The winner can now have £4,000 worth of plastic surgery of her choice.

According to the Daily Mail:

Despite ridicule from many areas, Miss Burges and Beryl Atkins, director of Birmingham cosmetic surgery clinic Transpire, defended the event and explained that the winner would need to pass strict screening before undergoing any surgery.

‘This is not something we are doing on a whim,’ said Miss Atkins, who said the winner would be free to decide against any procedure, and admitted the company would not be chasing the winner to come in for surgery.

Kate Beckinsale seemingly has had rhinoplasty, gum reduction, veneers, and a good brow plucking since her 1998 sashay down the red carpet at the ‘Broken Palace’ premiere in the before photo. I like her surgery because it brought out her features and made her look like more of a leading lady.

A few years ago, Beckinsale was criticized for having huge stretch marks on her breasts – see ‘The Ugliest Breasts In Hollywood‘. Her response:

“A friend of mine kindly sent me those cuttings. But I’ve not had a breast job. The moment those rumors started was when people saw my stretch marks. I don’t know how people think you can go from eight-and-a-half stone to over 12 stone when you’re pregnant and not get them. I’ve got stretch marks everywhere.”

Beckinsale was also not a fan of plastic surgery in 2006, when she was asked about it by a Sunday Express reporter. She said:

“I’m against it. If I were 45 I might think about having my eyelids done. Although the result is unnatural. My eyes are fine as they are: their slightly almond shape is a legacy of my Burmese great-grandfather”.

I don’t think she is a celebrity who will overdo plastic surgery in the future.

I think she has silicone implants beneath the muscle due to the firmness of her breasts. The doctor did a good job. It is very hard to tell her breasts are fake unless you know what to look for.
