Joan Jett is probably around 50 or so years old. She looks better than she ever has recently. Some do not care for her new cheek implants and also describe her new look as ’surprised’. But, I think she looks good with the work she had done: rhinoplasty, facelift, cheek implants, veneers.

A somewhat legit story, finally! Cheek implants look somewhat decent, as does the face lift, but don’t like that nose.. it looks somewhat crooked and pointy

Not to mention all the Botox on her forehead. I find it funny that she’s supposed to be all about rebellion and originality (she obviously still dresses that way trying to convey that image), yet then she goes and follows all the other sheep in Hollywood with the same cheek implants, the same Botox, the same nosejob, the same this and that. If she was so sure of herself (like the image she tries to portray) she wouldn’t care what anyone thought and wouldn’t succumb to the pressure to try to look 30 when she’s in her 50’s.

I dunno, if it was bad plastic surgery we’d see the lips tampered with and her eyes all askew. She also wouldn’t have those parentheses lines on the sides of her mouth like she does. Compared to other celebrities, she doesn’t look too terrible in the plastic surgery department.

Joan looks unbelievably good – especially for her age! She can still be a rebel and a rocker while not wanting to look like an old lady. Good for her for caring about how she looks while not going overboard like so many other women.

I don’t think that that’s surprise bat brow. She grew out her eyebrows and had them reshaped.. I think that’s what you’re seeing Alexis. In the younger picture they were widely spaced apart, were shortened after the arch, and in general didn’t help her face. Her reshaped brows really help bring out her facial features.

Joan Jett was 15 or 16 years old in the picture on the left. It is normal for facial features to change over time. I am not saying she didn’t have any work done, I am saying she didn’t have as much as you think.
Also, the picture on the right is not a very good picture.
She has kept herself in amazing physical shape and the woman has good skin. Yes, it is possible to have a smooth forehead without Botox.

i agree with jess. she’s supposed to be a rebel, not a tool. that’s what ‘hollywood’ rebels are though. same face, same mindsets, just different clothes. lame. “put her in black, give her a guitar & call her a rebel.. yeah!”
listen to some oi polloi & you’ll get the right perspective of rebel.
but i gotta say, i think it’s amazing plastic surgery. i’m determined to age like a normal human being, but if i wasn’t,.. i’d definitely want the name of her surgeon.

No offense at all, but it took me fewer than 10 seconds to type “Joan Jett” into Wikipedia and find out her age for certain. Ambivalent wording about something easy to verify doesn’t help the rest of your post sound valid. Just something to keep in mind.

Her eyes are scary, they are stretched too far open, and the spiky bangs draw attention to a forehead that was already naturally high and now is freakishly so thanks to the facelift. The nose job looks fake and weird.
That said, the bottom half of her face is great. Looks very young and, thank God, no trout pout. Her lips look natural.

Okay those are bad pictures of her. She stills looks great whether or not she has had minor things done. It’s obvious she had work done on her teeth (although her smile looks the same just brighter), but I really don’t think she has had anything other of the things listed. Her eyes have always had that somewhat surprised look to them, and over time it’s natural for the the nose and other features to thin and become more prominent. Maybe she had botox here and there, but I really just think Joan knows how to use make-up to her advantage. You can’t judge a person by one photo, and I think to say she got cheek implants, a face lift, and a nose job is ridiculous.
You can tell she hasn’t really had anything done by looking at photos with the facile muscles more relaxed like these:

Also even if she were to have had tweaks here and there that doesn’t mean she isn’t original, it just means she cares about the way she looks. She still kicks ass on stage and looks great while doing it!
