I’m 47 and am getting crow’s feet around my eye’s just a little, I don’t smoke. My brother is 49 and has smoked for 34 years and he looks like he is 80 years old. If she smokes and is ok with what it has done then let it go!

OMG! I’m 43 and don’t even have crow’s feet. She must not take care of her skin & smoke a lot. She has to eat a lot of butter and olive oil to plump up from the inside out.

Does anyone have pix of Julia before her nose jobs?

She did have two nose jobs, so not totally natural. The first was a bad one, the second a corrective one. I have always thought she was very beautiful though, and love her acting.

I think this is just a way to justify plastic surgery, there are many holiwood stars who age surgery free and do not have wrinkles like that. Thay are showing the worst cases and i think even make them worst than thay are just to give a point. Surgery free life is a life lived well.

I’m 43 and people think I’m in late 20’s. i never smoke and wear sunscreen religiously! this looks like serious sun tanning and smoking problem. My mom is gonna be 65 in a few months and looks younger than the woman in this picture.

With all due respect, I’d like to correct a point here.

A face lift is not the correct procedure for wrinkles . . . not even extensive or deep ones. This is a huge misconception. If you had a wrinkled shirt, you wouldn’t just pull it taut to get the wrinkles out. Same thing goes for a face lift. One may see an initial reduction in wrinkles, but it doesn’t last and leads to inferior surgery results. A face lift is only ideal for correcting sagging skin, not wrinkled skin.

A more ideal solution for removing wrinkles would be laser resurfacing or a chemical peel.

In any case, “beautiful” is a relative term, and people may just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Its so sad. She played leading lady in legends of the fall, a woman so beautiful that all three handsome brothers fall for her. Then she had a small role in benjamin button where she just reads a diary. She looked radiant opposite Brad pitt in the first movie and well dont know what happened to her after all these years. Did she just let herself go?. Plastic surgery should never become an obsession but i think for her it would be a great help. Thats what technology is for so we can benefit when we most need it.

These aren’t photoshopped. My mother-in-law is a smoker, and at age 48 the wrinkles just seemed to show up on her all at once, and they just get deeper and deeper (she’s 64 now). If for no other reason, quit smoking for your vanity’s sake! WOW. Julia was so beautiful once. Take a look at Helen Hunt. She looks just as old now.

As long as she is happy, I guess that is all that matters but she looks CONSIDERABLY older than my friends & family in their forties and fifties–and maybe even a few in their sixties. Curious what did cause this–bad genes, hormonal problems, sun exposure, smoking or spending lots of time in smoke-filled bars, etc.??
