While she doesn’t appear to have had anything done, she also looks very wrinkled for 52. Most women in the Midwest at least don’t have that many wrinkles even in their 80s. A friend I know is in her late 50s and has no wrinkles or age spots at all on her face. Partly good genes, partly sun avoidance and party living in Montana where it isn’t so polluted. Pollution in the air and water is one of the biggest ager and LA is horrible for pollution which is probably why so many stars age so badly. Linda has a bad drug history too so I suspect that is part of the issue. My aunts in their 80s have a little bit of jaw sagging and a few eye wrinkles. Now you see women in their 20s who look older.

How refreshing!!!! I am so sick of these frozen faces and trout pouts!!!

It’s a shame

Peraps natural but it doesn’t mean better.Too much diet and working out. My mom’s 54 and looks younger without any plastic surgery (but she’s not that skinny)

She looks old for a 52-year old… More like sixty to me. Then again, I might be related to a lot of women with amazing genes (hey, that means I’ve got them too), because none of them looked like this when they were in their fifties.
And yes, I know for sure none of them had any “upgrading” done.
Good for her, going natural – too bad for her oversized skin…

You can also name Jane Birkin, 61
November 16th, 2008 - 8:03 am
Linda looks way older than 52, she looks more like 72. She has way more wrinkles than I do, and I’m 59. Either she lied about her age or she’s ill.
November 17th, 2008 - 12:21 pm
In the spirit of both Ms Hepburns. Good for her!
November 24th, 2008 - 3:25 am
Oh my god! She looks so, so…… normal! You go girl!
November 28th, 2008 - 8:25 am
According to certain other sites I’ve visited, Linda has smoked since she was very young. It’s now that the effects are showing in her face.
November 30th, 2008 - 12:08 am
I’m the same age as her but she looks bad to me. It must be living in LA & being in the sun all the time with no sunscreen. If I were her I would get alittle bit done.
December 7th, 2008 - 2:24 pm
she looks gross get some botox and fillers or something ewwww
December 11th, 2008 - 4:21 am
she looks normal not like a plastic barbie doll like most of these celebrities that get work
December 11th, 2008 - 4:21 am
she looks bloody good for her age
December 20th, 2008 - 3:38 pm
Keep in mind she’s making a grimace in this photo. I for one this she looks gorgeous, as always.
December 23rd, 2008 - 6:19 pm
It’s not like all people in Hollywood age badly and have all gotten plastic surgery, you know. My mom is almost 53 and she has NO wrinkles whatsoever. She looks like she’s in her early 30s. It comes with taking care of yourself, staying out of the sun, not smoking, not being an alcoholic, moisturizing, and of course… our amazing genetics. >:)

AAAHHHH!!!! Now what are we to do?? A woman aging naturally and looking great doing it! What is this world coming to??
January 4th, 2009 - 6:34 pm
she seems to have aged more than she should have for a 52 yr old.she can easily pass off as a granny in her late 60s
January 6th, 2009 - 8:06 pm
I thought my 69 year old mother looked old but Linda Hamilton looks older than her! What has she done to her skin/health I wonder (apart from the ovious) that has caused her to age so badly?
January 18th, 2009 - 7:39 am
great to see someone who isnt addicted to plastic surgery! there´s nothing she had to be ashamed. hell in what world we´re living in where it is unusual that someone get older natural.
January 20th, 2009 - 7:25 pm
OMG! At 1st I thought I was looking at Stan Lee.
January 29th, 2009 - 6:43 am
To be truthful Linda does look older than her years, my grandma is in her 80s and her skin is amazing, no deep wrinkles at all…I have seen women of her age who dont look as aged, but whats a 52 year old woman supposed to look like? Meh…I dont think any amount of surgery could restore her youth…the wrinkles are too deep set…ah well at least she hasnt joined the bandwagon of so many celebs who cant even move a muscle in their face…

So glad to see a natural face. I get sick of seeing the things people do to their faces. Why do you want to cut up your face? I miss the way people used to look, e.g., Meg Ryan, Jennie Garth, Nicole Kidman, it never ends.

Pickle6: yeah, something must be wrong with her, doesn’t it? Just because she isn’t aging exactly like you doesn’t mean there’s something wrong. sigh.
March 9th, 2009 - 3:58 pm
Not a flattering picture, but it is nice to see people age in Hollywood. She looks fine and shouldn’t get botox.
March 11th, 2009 - 9:56 pm
Linda looks worried and stressed… she should try facial exercises, massaging her skin, and using some good moisturizers… I’ll bet she could improve her looks. I admire her for avoiding plastic surgery. But she’s hard to watch because she looks so worried.
March 11th, 2009 - 9:57 pm
Linda’s forehead is the worst part… she could wear bangs to cover it!
March 15th, 2009 - 3:55 pm
christ on a bike! I’m glad she hasn’t done a bunch of plastic surger etc. but my god she looks a lot, lot older than 52!
April 27th, 2009 - 2:10 pm
To be fair she is making a somewhat extreme expression. If she was hanging out looking bored I doubt all those lines would show.
June 13th, 2009 - 10:24 am
She is looking much older than her age–was she a heavy smoker, tanner, etc? I would think she would be regretting doing without any or very little “upkeep” at this point. I know I sure would be.
June 22nd, 2009 - 12:51 am
Linda is a heavy smoker. My mom at age 62 looks waaaay younger than Linda at 52.
Check out Julia Ormond and Helen Hunt, as well. Heavy smokers.
October 6th, 2009 - 5:47 pm
wow.. maybe it is my genes, but i am fifty, white, and I do not have one wrinkle. i have never smoked, done a lot of drugs or drink. I haven’t been a layout in the sun all day to get a tan kind of person since i was older than 20.
December 1st, 2009 - 9:14 am
I’m 53, white, and thin, and I can confidently say that I look nothing like Linda Hamilton. Neither do any of my same-age friends. None of us have any wrinkles or age spots — just a bit of normal crinkling around the eyes. Linda looks as if she’s had too much sun exposure and done some very hard, destructive living. Looking at that picture, I see the face of a woman in her late-60’s.
December 10th, 2009 - 7:06 pm
Looks like the nuclear explosion in Terminator fried her face.
December 23rd, 2009 - 6:14 am
I saw her in a TV movie last night about a divorced woman who becomes homeless. I couldn’t get over how old she looked and wondered how old she was. Her terrible appearance, wrinkly face undermined the plot of the movie. Throughout the film, you felt that you couldn’t blame her husband for divorcing her for looking like that. Later on in the movie a “new romance” begins between Linda’s character and a doctor. Again, with her appearance that plot point seems incredible. The younger doctor courting this wrinkly old hag? I dunno. I know this all sounds really, really harsh but it’s true. I’m 32 and I pray I never look that way. I’m going to have cosmetic procedures done ASAP.
December 30th, 2009 - 8:01 pm
Madame Morticia, there’s a recipie for aging well, and you can begin at age 32:
- Don’t smoke.
- Don’t tan, ever! Use sunscreen every day. If you look too pallid, use self-tanning creams.
- Don’t drink excessively or use drugs.
- Eat healthfully and exercise regularly.
- When crow’s feet appear, get Botox.
- When you get those creases between your nose and the corners of your mouth, have them filled-in by a dermatolgist.
I know it all seems very simple, but it really does work.

Why should she feel forced to have surgery just because others in her profession choose too? For those comments stating about how wrinkled she looks compared to a friend or someones mom, please keep in mind not all people age the same so you really can’t compare people to one another. I commend her not wanting to look like she can barely see out of her tight eyes, or that what was once a 3 finger forehead turned into the palm of a mans hand size forehead or have a weird turned up nose like so many weird looking people here in LA. Sometimes it is so freakin scary.
